This OptiVISOR® lightweight glass #2 lens plate is ground and polished to prismatic optical standards to provide clear, sharp optics and effective magnification of your work piece. The lens plate is designed to fit the Donegan OptiVISOR®, and is easily attached and removed via small pins on the visor. Additional lens plates are available to enable optimal magnification on a variety of tasks.
For best results, choose the lens the with the lowest power necessary to accomplish your task. This is because the greater the magnification you use, the shorter your focal length will be and the smaller your field of view will be. Choosing the minimal magnification ensures the best possible field of view and focal length as you work.
